Kristin Lora: Artist Opening

After creating jewelry for 35 years, Kristin Lora still collects objects, new and used, and keeps them in her studio for later inspiration. Her work is known for its use of movement, found objects, and sense of humor. Featuring clean, uncomplicated, and contemporary lines, these miniature works of neo-geo and pop art are both simple and elegant. She will be showcasing a variety of pieces at Poppy, including her Brush, Felt, Circle Cluster and Tubular collections.

The Georgetown Gallery Gaze’s is sponsoring a special event to celebrate St. Valentine, with a chance to win a dinner for two at one of Georgetown’s finest restaurants, Sea Catch, Blue Moon or Bodega Spanish Tapas Lounge. In addition to the monthly gallery walk to artists’ receptions featuring drinks and hors d’oeuvres, this month a raffle will be held in selected galleries to pick the lucky winning ”Date Night” diners. We invite you to throw your name in the hat while strolling the streets of Georgetown and enjoying the cultural offerings of the galleries.
